Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of this website and any preliminary information you receive before signing a project contract with Crawford Residential and Industrial Repair.
Effective Date: May 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at crawfordresidentialandindustrialrepair.com and the preliminary services we provide before any roofing contract is signed (estimates, inspections, communications, and similar pre-contractual interactions). Crawford Residential and Industrial Repair (“Crawford,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this website and these preliminary services subject to the Terms below.
By using the website, requesting an estimate, or otherwise interacting with Crawford through this website or our published phone number, you accept these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the website or request services.
Acceptance of Terms
Your use of this website and any pre-contractual services we provide constitutes your agreement to these Terms. We may revise these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the website after revisions are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Description of Services
Crawford Residential and Industrial Repair is a Tennessee-based roofing contractor headquartered in Jackson, TN, serving Madison, Gibson, and Dyer counties and the surrounding West Tennessee area. Our services include:
- Residential roofing installation and replacement
- Roof repair and storm damage restoration
- Roof inspection and condition assessment
- Roof maintenance programs
- Emergency roofing response, including tarping and stabilization
- Insurance claim coordination for storm-damaged residential properties
The detailed scope, materials, pricing, and timeline for any specific project will be set forth in a written project contract signed by both Crawford and the customer. These Terms govern preliminary interactions only; the project contract governs the actual roofing work.
Estimates and Quotes
Any estimate, quote, or pricing information provided through this website, by phone, email, or in person is non-binding until a written project contract is signed by both parties. Estimates are based on conditions visible at the time of inspection and on the information you provide. The final scope and price may change if additional conditions are discovered during work (for example, decking damage uncovered after tear-off, or additional layers of existing roofing material that require removal).
We document any scope changes in writing and discuss them with you before performing additional work. Estimates remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified in writing. After 30 days, material costs may change and a revised estimate may be required.
Project Timelines
Any project timeline we provide before a contract is signed represents our best estimate based on typical conditions. Actual project timing depends on:
- Weather conditions, including the West Tennessee storm season from April through June
- Material availability from suppliers
- Permit issuance from local authorities
- Conditions discovered during the work itself, particularly on older homes with multiple existing roofing layers
- Insurance approval timelines for claim-based projects
We don’t start full roof replacement work when severe weather is in the immediate forecast, and we don’t leave a roof exposed overnight during active weather conditions. If unexpected weather develops mid-project, we secure the work area and resume when conditions allow. Final timelines are committed in the project contract.
Payment Terms
Payment terms for roofing projects — including deposit amounts, progress payments, and final payment schedules — are specified in each individual project contract. We provide written estimates and contracts before work begins and don’t require payment for preliminary inspections or estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
For insurance-funded projects, payment terms typically align with the insurance carrier’s payment schedule, with the customer responsible for any deductible and any work performed outside the approved claim scope.
Warranty
Crawford’s roofing work is covered by two layers of warranty:
- Manufacturer warranty: The roofing materials we install — including GAF asphalt shingle systems — carry the manufacturer’s warranty as published by the manufacturer at the time of installation. Warranty terms vary by product and certification level. As a GAF certified contractor, we can offer enhanced warranty options on qualifying installations.
- Workmanship warranty: Crawford warranties the labor and installation work we perform. Specific workmanship warranty terms are stated in writing in each project contract.
Warranties do not cover damage from causes outside Crawford’s control, including but not limited to: extreme weather events beyond design specifications (such as direct tornado strikes), damage caused by other contractors or homeowners after installation, neglect, lack of routine maintenance, or pre-existing conditions that were disclosed at the time of work.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, Crawford’s liability for any claim arising out of services provided is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service or project at issue. Crawford is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost income, lost business opportunity, or emotional distress, regardless of the legal theory under which a claim is brought.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by Tennessee law, including in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or to services provided by Crawford will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Tennessee, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Dispute Resolution
Before filing any formal legal action, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution of any dispute through direct communication. If direct resolution isn’t successful, the parties may pursue mediation before initiating litigation. Nothing in this provision prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court when appropriate to protect rights or property.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.
Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the website. Your continued use of the website after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
